Timings
Arrival Time & Registration: ½ hour prior to session start time
Session Duration: Approx. 1 hour
It is imperative that all T2 Ride participants clearly understand that their experience will take place in a real V8 Supercar. Due to that fact, there are guidelines and restrictions that apply – these exist to ensure maximum participant safety at all times.
Seating
Crew will be responsible for the allocation of seating, no requests for front or back seat preferences will be entertained.
Restrictions
ALL participants must be 18 years of age or over. Minors will NOT be permitted in the car.
There is a maximum weight limit of 105kg and a maximum height limit of 193cm. This may be based on a height / weight ratio.
Participants will be required to wear a fire-proof race suit which needs to be completely zipped and secured by the velcro collar.
Suit sizes range from S – XXL only.
Clothing
The participant will be supplied a triple layer driving suit, approved gloves and helmets on the day. Passengers are required to wear full length pants and fully enclosed footwear (NO high heels). Participants will only be allowed in the passenger seat, once they are fully “suited up” in the above mentioned items, with the suit completely zipped up and secured by the velcro collar, gloves and fully enclosed shoes are worn.
NO privately owned helmets or suits are permitted.
NO privately owned cameras will be permitted in the car.
Medical
Should you have a pre-existing health condition, please bring a letter from your treating medical practitioner stating that travelling at speeds up to 250 km/h will not impact said health condition. Please also advise us of any limitation of limb function and/or absence of limbs.
Weather
This experience can be affected by the weather. For the safety of all, the crew will assess weather conditions and act accordingly.
Release Form
You are required to sign a Release Form on the day, prior to taking your ride. This form MUST BE witnessed by a Walkinshaw Racing staff member. A copy has been attached for your information and reading prior to the event. Please ensure that you are fully conversant with the content and you are aware of what you are signing and that you are taking this ride entirely at your own risk.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to attend on the day with the participating passenger, please note any children under the age of 16 are required to be in the control of an adult at all times. For Emergency / Safety reasons all visitors (non participants) are asked to sign in the Guest Book provided at the registration desk.
Cancellations
(Under extenuating circumstances) Walkinshaw Racing reservses the right to alter ride dates, locations and session times. Every effort will be made to communicate the changes in a timely manner to limit any related inconvenience.
